Fine Art Framing & Services Ltd. has been dedicated to servicing the public and arts community locally and internationally for over twenty years. We provide museum quality framing installation services and work closely with individuals and galleries to provide artists, designers and collectors unique consultations for their projects and artworks. We manufacture bespoke frames, seamless designs, and offer computerized mat cutting. We offer a multitude services: glass and plexi glass cutting, crating, canvas, stretchers, plinths, shipping. As well we offer a pick up, delivery and installation and have a large format photo mounting press. Fine Art Framing & Services Ltd has also partnered with Patron Art House Gallery and we are excited to offer events and art shows throughout the year

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail oriented individual who can apply their skill sets to the fabrication of fine art picture framing. This position joins various aspects of installation, woodworking, glass cutting, use of computerized mat cutter and large format photo mounting press. Customer service communication skills are an asset. An ideal candidate has familiarity with handling of large scale photographic media and techniques involved with process of mounting photographs. We are willing to train the right individual and there is a thorough training period offered with this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstration of framing options and techniques to clients seeking consultation for their artworks in varieties of medias and dimensions.

  • Programming the timeline for completion of framing assignments with our team

  • The handling and preparation of artworks for contexts of exhibitions and private collections.

  • The lifting of heaving objects maybe required.

Qualifications:

  • Drivers License an asset

  • A dependable and punctual disposition.

  • Multi tasking organizational skills - detail orientated.

  • Dexterity is an asset for this positions. Spatial sense an eye for exact measurement.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Effective communication and exact writing skills

  • Ability to synchronize with co-workers in order to negotiate the careful handling of large scale artworks

  • Basic computer and math skills- precise measurement
