Job Description: 

Artspace is seeking experienced and creative instructors for September 2018 to March 2019:

Visual Arts, 3-5 year olds
Tuesdays, 10:45-11:30 (combines with Teaching Assistant role for Music & Movement ages 3-5 immediately before from 9:30-10:45)

Visual Arts, 3-5 year olds
Thursdays, 10:45-11:30 (combines with teaching assistant role for Music & Movement ages 3-5 immediately before from 9:30-10:45)

Musical Theatre, 6-8 year olds
Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 PM

Musical Theatre, 9-13 year olds
Thursdays, 5:00-6:30 PM

Responsibilities: 

As an Artspace instructor, you are an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children. You have an innovative and collaborative approach to teaching, and are able to inspire creativity in your students.

Qualifications: 

Your qualifications include: 
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in specific discipline (dance and/or music, theatre, visual art)
• At least 2 years of experience teaching children and developing course curriculum
• Proven ability to connect with children and communicate with parents

Successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Records Check and a reference check.
