Organization Description: 

Crafted Vancouver is a registered, not-for-profit, independent organization showcasing a curated programme of events related to craftsmanship and craft-based work under the Crafted Vancouver umbrella.

Crafted Vancouver brings together exceptional local, national & international artisans & designers, studios, galleries and shops making, exhibiting or selling fine craft-based work. Festival events take place at a variety of venues throughout Metro Vancouver over 25 days in May.

Craft appreciators are invited to attend exclusive demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops, artist’s talks and presentations, tours, dining and tasting events, film screenings and more.

We have a number of volunteer opportunities for people seeking to engage with our Event Partners (those who make, feature or sell fine craft) and our festival audience.

International Workshop and Talk Series
REEL Crafted Film Festival
Independent Events Liaison
Programme Guidebook distribution
Signage Delivery

Available positions during festival: May 6-30, 2019

Festival Photographers
Various Signature Events positions (e.g. Refreshment table
Workshop assistant, Guest registration)
Festival Opening Receptions (various duties)
Crafted Vancouver representative at Signature and Independent Events
Construction/strike (must be able to lift 50lbs and be comfortable operating power tools)
