CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Art Rental & Sales at the Vancouver Art Gallery

Art Rental & Sales is a not-for-profit program operated by the Vancouver Art Gallery with a mandate of supporting emerging artists throughout British Columbia. Through the rental and sale of original artwork by a juried selection of artists, AR&S generates income for artists and provides funding for programs at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Once a year, Art Rental & Sales hosts an open call for artists based in British Columbia to consign artwork to our program. All submissions are reviewed by a selection committee, and applicants are notified as to the status of their submission within 2 months of our submission deadline.


The Vancouver Art Gallery commits to providing equitable access to everyone. We actively support accessibility, anti-racism, LGBTQ2S+ inclusion and encourage diversity in our staff, visitors, volunteers and programming. We cultivate a safer space where all voices are heard, valued and represented.
