Nominations Open for 2015 Richmond Arts Awards

Do you know a Richmond artist who deserves recognition? Is there a volunteer extraordinaire or community-minded business that has supported the arts, beyond expectations? 

If so, submit a nomination for the seventh annual Richmond Arts Awards by Monday, March 16.

Three finalists and one winner will be announced in the following six categories:

  • Business and the Arts 
  • Volunteerism 
  • Cultural Leadership 
  • Artistic Innovation 
  • Arts Education
  • Youth Arts 

Established in 2009, the Richmond Arts Awards program is designed to recognize the artistic achievements and contributions to the cultural community by Richmond residents, artists, educators, organizers and business leaders.

Nomination Deadline: Monday, March 16 at 5 p.m. 

Award recipients will be announced in May 2015 by City of Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie. 

The Awards were created by the City of Richmond in partnership with the Richmond Arts Coalition, and are supported by the Richmond News.
