Ines Min PR is a communications and marketing firm for the arts and culture sector. We help clients reach new audiences by creating meaningful connections through authentic storytelling. Our services include media relations, digital marketing, content marketing, and marketing consulting.

Our client list includes galleries, educational organizations, writers, researchers, and others making a positive impact through cultural sharing and learning. We aim to tell stories with care and consideration, using authenticity as a guiding principle. We seek to amplify the work of BIPOC creators in particular, but love collaborating with anyone who is thoughtful in their messaging and approach.

Job Description:

We’re growing and need your help! We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who works well independently. This person will be a critical support in executing media relations campaigns and will also help build our clients’ social media profiles. You’ll be working with our many creative clients and will be entrusted with helping amplify their message with professionalism and clarity.

This is a fully remote, part-time contract position for between 10–15 hours a week. The contract will commence as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will vary depending on the season, but will mainly include:

— Researching media angles and timely story hooks
— Pitching specific story ideas to individual journalists
— Proofreading press releases
— Creating and organizing press kits
— Media monitoring for online/print clippings of press coverage
— Submit projects to event listing engines on behalf of clients
— Creating social media content for Facebook and Instagram

Qualifications:

This is by no means a comprehensive list, but we’d love someone with the following:

— 2–3 years of experience working in a communications or marketing role
— Strong writing or editing skills, including excellent grammar
— An understanding of the media landscape in Vancouver
— Familiarity with Google Workspace, Adobe PhotoShop (or other photo editing software)
— A finger on the pulse of the arts/culture scene in Vancouver
— Social media savvy
