City Council Approves New Tenants for Woodward's Cultural Space

Last week Vancouver City Council unanimously approved four not-for-profit arts organizations as tenants in the city-owned cultural amenity space in the Woodward's heritage building. 

Kokoro Dance has been designated the lead tenant, along with Vancouver International Dance Festival Society, Vancouver Moving Theatre, and Raven Spirit Dance Society as subtenants in the space. 

The facility includes over 2,300 square feet of second-floor office space as well as approximately 1,100 sf at street level and 3,800 in the basement that will be used for performances and rehearsals. 

The groups are expected to take up occupancy in the Woodward's building in 2015.
