Vancouver's Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art Appoints New Director and CEO

The Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art has named Allison Andrachuk as its new director and CEO. Andrachuk formerly served as the director of ecological charity Tides Canada, as well as manager of operations and public programs at the Contemporary Art Gallery.

Andrachuk replaces Alexandra Montgomery, who recently moved to Banff. Andrachuk was chosen after a six-month search by the organization’s board of directors. The Gallery announced in a press release that Andrachuk would "strengthen relationships with Indigenous communities, particularly the host nations as well as the museum and gallery community.”
