It's 2019, the BC Alliance is back, and Digital Ladders has begun in earnest. Our first Salon, which took place on January 8 and focused on implementing video into your storytelling strategy, was a rousing success! If you missed this session, worry not — we've got plenty of excellent content coming down the pipe, including our latest addition: Location-Based Immersive Experiences with Steve Peters.

About the Salon
They're not just for catching Pokémon! Geolocation-based apps are inspiring us to get off the couch and out of the house in new and exciting ways. Join Steve Peters as he explores the use of mobile location technology to turn the real world into your creative canvas, and how specific locations and environments can trigger engagement and immersive interaction for games, tours, events, and education. Current technology, design, and applications (games, installations, walking tours, etc.) will be examined and discussed.
