As part of our Digital Ladders program, we've worked hard to make sure the cutting edge of digital knowledge is available to you at an affordable price. Now, we're excited to offer three upcoming Salons at the most affordable price of all — free! We've partnered with the Vancouver Public Library to present three Salons at the VPL's Central Library in downtown Vancouver. No need to register or pay admission — just show up with a pen and paper (or digital note-taking device!) and plenty of curiosity.

Want get into podcasting, but aren’t sure where to start? Join Robert Ouimet for The Podcast Primer, April 9. Learn valuable tips that will save you time and money down the road.

Your budget is small, and your ideas are anything but? On April 16, Barrie Adleberg takes you through a Case Study of a Scrappy Mobile Exhibit to give you a crash course in creative production. Participants will learn low-tech hacks to bring organizational stories and artifacts to life.

Lastly, on April 30, take a safari through the App Store jungle and discover the tools that will turn your phone into a machine of pure creation with Digital Tools to Help You Create. Jordan Matthew Yerman leads this session suitable for theatre-makers, musicians, arts technicians, writers, sketchers, painters, and electronic artists.

All three events will be streamed live at the BC Alliance Facebook page. If you require ASL interpretation, please contact Joyce Wan at joyce@allianceforarts.com. For more information on these and other sessions, visit our Salons page.
