You may have noticed some changes on our front page! We’ve debuted a new feature, In Focus, and we’ve consolidated another of our features, What’s On.

In Focus is a new monthly feature that spotlights the connections between arts, culture, and other relevant topics, by providing resources to help you self-educate. If you’ve seen the resource lists we’ve compiled for occasions like National Indigenous History Month or Pride, then you’ll be familiar with the format. For our inaugural In Focus, we’ve prepared a list of articles, studies and websites on the connections between arts, the environment and climate action. You can give it a read here!

The new feature occupies the place on our front page previously occupied by our weekly What’s On feature, detailing upcoming and ongoing events from BC Alliance members. We’ve retired the weekly column and are consolidating our events coverage into what was previously our Member Events section. The new section is called What’s On, to carry on the spirit of the old series. BC Alliance members are invited to submit their events to this section. We hope that by refining our coverage, we can present upcoming events in the most efficient and thorough way possible. Our old weekly columns can still be found in the What’s On Archive.
