We have been offering programs since 2010 and have become well respected and highly sought out in Squamish and beyond. Job Description:
We are currently hiring for our summer and fall programs in Squamish and West Vancouver. For Summer 2024 we are hiring summer camp instructors in both locations. We are looking for a wide variety of highly skilled performing arts instructors including musical theatre teachers, dance teachers, singing teachers, fine art teachers and acting teachers. Summer camp hours are 9am-3pm (Squamish) or 9am-3:30pm West Vancouver.
Fall 2024- June 2025 season we are looking for dance teachers, acting teachers, voice teachers and musical theatre teachers and produce a 3 musical season with our various age groups at our Squamish location. Approximately 3:45pm-7:45pm. You would be responsible in leading and instructing as dance teacher/choreographer, voice teacher/vocal director or acting teacher/assistant director. Day flexible at this point.
We will also be hiring some assistant teachers so lesser experienced teachers are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
*Leading and instructing classes or camps in your area of expertise
*Caring for and keeping safe a group of students
*Helping to prepare students for their show either at the end of the week or season
*Communicating with the Artistic Director to bring her vision to life
*Helping students to develop new skills, build confidence and have fun
Qualifications:
* Experience training and performing in your area of skill (singing, dancing, acting, art)
*Experience teaching/ working with youth
*Must have a valid Criminal Record Check
*Professional references
*Valid first aid ticket an asset
*Reliable Transportation

Remuneration:
$40-$50 Lead Instructors and $28-$35 Assistant Instructors (Travel also compensated if necessary for Squamish location)
