Tea Server and Shop Director

Organization:

Cultivate Tea

Deadline:

May. 20, 2024

Organization Description:

Jude Wang opened Cultivate in 2014, when he returned to Vancouver after living in Beijing and Hong Kong, and gained an appreciation for fine Chinese tea. His intention was to create a place where people could come to experience rare teas and take time to enjoy the ritual that surrounds their preparation. Jude sources from small producers in remote regions in China and Japan whose teas exhibit masterful traditional craftsmanship. Cultivate is both a shop and a thoughtful space for seasonal tea tastings where the peaceful atmosphere and curated collection of ceramics and incense elevate the experience of the teas. Cultivate ensures that the tea is handled respectfully, from the moment the leaves open on the trees to the moment the tea is in the cup, and that, when we drink it, it is satisfying, clean, and makes us feel good.
