Job Description:

We seek a skilled, personable, detail and results oriented Administrator/Marketer.

Your role is exceptionally important to the organization – you keep everything running smoothly, and the business growing. You are the key contact person for clients.

You are positive, solution oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills. You suggest ideas and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You look for ways to streamline your work and the processes of the business. You are creative, curious, and goal oriented.

Most of your work may be done from home, with a few weekly hours in our West Vancouver office and attending end-of-term performance events. You will be in regular communication with other team members over the phone and email, and sometimes meet in person.

Hours, Location, Additional Details:

Hours: 15h/week during the school year (Sept-June) and 10h/week during the summer (July & Aug) with a minimum of 1-2h each workday, Monday-Friday, to answer emails/calls in a timely manner. Remaining hours may be distributed according to your choice.

Location: Your home and the West Vancouver Studio when needed. A car is helpful for getting to the studio and picking up supplies, but not necessary.

Training: Initial and ongoing training provided until you can fly solo!

Equipment: your own laptop, cell phone and strong internet connection is required to work at home. The studio equipment is available at certain hours, and thus may not always be available to you.

Responsibilities:

ADMINISTRATION
- Registering new & returning clients
- Scheduling
- Invoicing
- Managing phones and emails
- Communicating with all staff
- Purchasing supplies
- Keeping the studio organized and running smoothly
- Event administration (booking venues, communicating with attendees, managing registration)
- Assist clients with registering for exams (RCM, Trinity) and performance events
- Assist instructors with administrative tasks
- Update admin handbook as required

MARKETING & SALES
- Grow client base through new marketing campaigns of your design and creation
- Close sales with interested clients
- Writing and designing monthly newsletters (MailChimp)
- Managing Facebook account
- Setting up and managing a new Instagram account
- Webpage management: content, SEO, branding, design (Wordpress)
- Managing Google Ads
- Managing Brand consistency
- Building brand awareness

Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills
Clear and concise writing and speaking style
Marketing experience – generalist
Superior Computer Skills, including good typing skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, and Gmail
Fluent in English
Detail oriented
Proactive
Responsible
Initiative taker
Problem Solver
Fast Learner
