Lights Up is a performing arts program with a difference. We believe theatre fundamentals help students shine on stage and in all aspects of their lives. Everyone has a place on stage and in our program. It’s about more than a final production. It’s about the learning, teamwork, friendships, and memories that are created.

Job Description:
**Positions available in Richmond, Langley, South Surrey and Maple Ridge**
If you are an energetic Singing, Dance and or Drama Instructor who loves sharing your skills with kids, we would love to hear from you.
Camps run weekly from July 7 - August 29 (M-F, 9am - 3pm). Contracts are by the week, so if you have partial availability due to travel or other committments, we may still have a role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver fun classes in singing, dance and/or drama.
- Play related games
- Lead arts and crafts activities
- Dance instructor: lead physical warm-up, choreograph dance routines
- Singing instructor: lead vocal warm-up, teach songs (choral)
- Drama instructor: lead drama warm-up, direct scenes and presentation
- Work with instructor team to put all elements together in a short presentation at the end of each week.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary training in a relevant program
- Experience working with children
- Choreography/Direction/Choir Leader experience
- Related performance experience
- Criminal Record Check (required)
- First aid training (asset)
