Volunteerism in the Arts Award 2025

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Volunteerism in the Arts Award!

This annual award supports the professional development of outstanding volunteers by providing funds to attend an arts and culture–related conference, training session, or networking opportunity. Eligible nominees must currently be volunteering with a BC-based arts and culture organization and show a commitment to advancing their education or experience in the sector.

The award recipient will receive a $700 cash prize, along with complimentary access to all upcoming Alliance for Arts + Culture workshops and professional activities.

Arts and cultural organizations are invited to nominate an exceptional volunteer by submitting a letter of support that highlights the nominee’s contributions and explains why they deserve recognition. Volunteers who wish to be considered should contact the organization where they volunteer.

Thanks to the vision of the fund advisors, the Volunteerism in the Arts Award celebrates the vital contributions of volunteers who bring arts and cultural events to life across BC each year.
