ABOUT EMERGE
The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) is proud to announce the launch of EMERGE, a new initiative dedicated to cultivating an inclusive and supportive space for self-identifying emerging BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) artists.
Aligned with the FCA’s mission to advance the appreciation and understanding of visual art in Canada, this residency and mentorship project will provide access to resources, one-on-one guidance, and professional development opportunities. Through cross-cultural dialogue and community engagement, EMERGE supports the growth of artistic voices that shape our collective future.
This 9-week residency is designed to support two emerging BIPOC artists by offering dedicated studio access, mentorship, and public exhibition opportunities.
