WEBSITE: http://vancouver.ca/people-programs/artists-in-communities-applying-for-residencies.aspx

CALL FOR ARTISTS:

Artists in Communities (AiC) is open for pre-applications!

Are you an artist that:

Lives in Metro Vancouver?

Can commit to a self-directed community-engaged project for 18 months?

Has experience working with diverse communities?

Has experience developing and/or delivering community-engaged or social practice projects in community settings?

If yes, please consider submitting a pre-application for the Vancouver Park Board's Artists in Communities program.

Together, community members and the selected artist work from a community centre to foster social connection, cultural participation, and learning opportunities. Collaborating on creative projects about things that matter to the neighbourhood, artists use different disciplines — visual art, film-making, dance, creative writing, fibre arts, and more — to build a physical or social legacy through artmaking.

Submit your pre-application by December 11th, 2026.
