Call for Artists Description:
This un-juried show features a diverse range of local talent creating in the medium of glass. From blown vessels to dynamic abstract works, kiln formed glass and flame worked sculptural forms, we celebrate the creative diversity possible in this ancient alchemical practice. It is preferred that one of a kind pieces are submitted. If you are submitting work from a product line /production run, a colour or form that is not readily available through other outlets or retailers is preferred. Please also include an artist statement and personal photograph (if you wish) preferably a action photo of you in your studio.
How to Apply:
Up to 3 pieces. Include high-resolution photographs of the work in a square format suitable for publishing in print or on social media. The show opens April 16th and runs to June 5th. The Opening night will be April 16th from 6-9 pm, and include a cocktail reception and light refreshments. Any works not sold during the exhibition time frame will be available for pick up the weekend of June 6th & 7th or thereafter in the original wrapping/protective packaging in which it was received. Fees/Compensation:
Please note the application fee of $25.00 per submission is payable upon application via e-transfer to sunfirestudioarts@gmail.com is due with your application. The gallery split is 35% gallery 65% Artist. All payouts will occur the week of June 8th, 2026. via e-transfer.
