CALL FOR ARTISTS:
VanArtHub is a Vancouver gallery at 1242 Davie Street with a curated online gallery at vanarthub.com, representing emerging and established contemporary artists. We sell original, signed paintings only (no prints or reproductions) to private collectors, interior designers and hospitality clients across Canada, the USA and the UAE. VanArtHub is an organizational member of the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are inviting a small number of new artists based in Canada and the USA into our represented roster. Selected artists receive:
A dedicated artist page on vanarthub.com with full biography, artist statement and a curated presentation of your work
Listing and sale of your original works through our online gallery and our trade program for interior designers and hospitality buyers
Professional listing copy, SEO and social promotion (Instagram, Pinterest, Etsy and Artsy) handled by our team
Consideration for commissioned projects with our interior-design and hospitality clients
A Certificate of Authenticity issued for every work sold
Artists are paid a share of every sale on a consignment basis. There is no cost to the artist to be represented, listed or promoted. You keep your work in your studio until it sells, and you retain copyright at all times.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Painters and mixed-media artists based in Canada or the USA with a developed visual language and a coherent body of work: a clear thread in subject, palette, technique or lived experience across your pieces. All media welcome (oil, acrylic, mixed media, coloured pencil, ink, graphite). You must be the original creator and legal owner of the works you submit, and able to ship from your studio.
The deadline is ongoing; the next review round closes December 15, 2026. We review on a rolling basis and reply to every complete application.
HOW TO APPLY:

You will need: at least 5 finished original works currently available for sale plus 3 earlier works (8 total); one straight, evenly lit main photo and 5 detail photos of each work for sale (shared via a Google Drive or Dropbox link); an artist statement (up to 200 words); a collection statement (up to 150 words); and a short description of each piece. The application takes about 15 to 20 minutes once your photos are ready.

FEES/COMPENSATION:
No fees of any kind. There is no application, submission, listing, exhibition or membership fee at any stage. Artists are paid a share of the sale price of every work sold, on a consignment basis; artists retain ownership of unsold work and copyright at all times.
