BC Culture Days has had a great run of workshops around the province so far this year, from Haida Gwaii to the Rockies. If you haven’t yet had the chance to attend a Culture Days Workshop, it’s not too late. Four more workshops have been added in Whistler, Powell River, Bowen Island, and Langley. In addition, if you’re not able to attend in person, you can participate online through a live webinar on June 25 at 11 a.m.-12 p.m. (PDT). Stay tuned for webinar registration information.
The Culture Days workshop is a great opportunity to:
- Learn how to register an activity and participate in BC Culture Days;
- Learn about the many online tips and tools available for planning your activity;
- Connect and share ideas with other local activity organizers;
- Learn how to make Culture Days a success in your community.

What is Culture Days?
Culture Days is a collaborative movement to encourage awareness, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. Now in its fifth year, this Canada-wide celebration represents the largest-ever public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and cultural community in this country. Culture Days will feature free hands-on activities that invite the public to participate in the “behind-the-scenes” world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, and designers at work. Through this exchange, artists and creators have a unique opportunity to engage people of all ages in their creative practice. Culture Days will take place September 26-28, 2014, in all provinces and territories.
