While browsing the email bulletin of the Saskatchewan Arts Alliance, we came across a report issued in March 2018 by the Department of Canadian Heritage entitled Focus groups on Canadians' participation in the arts: final report. Following up on the Arts and Heritage Access and Availability Survey 2016-17, Canadian Heritage commissioned focus groups to find out more about Canadian’s participation in the arts.

We encourage you to take a look at this report, which delves into barriers to participation in the arts, the role of arts and culture in wellbeing, the ways the internet has changed arts participation, and more. As always, you can find this, along with other essential research, on the BC Alliance's Resources page.
