The BC Alliance is seeking applications for an Indigenous curator to develop and deliver the content of our annual conference in the fall of 2019.

The conference will take place over two days and cover a broad range of perspectives about the relationship between the arts and wellbeing. The purpose of the conference will be to champion engagement in the arts (or creative activities) as a path to improved health, healing and wellbeing.

The Indigenous curator will take the lead on developing the program to bring an Indigenous perspective/experience to the conference alongside experts from both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous sectors. They will work in collaboration and with the support of the executive director and staff of the BC Alliance.

The successful applicant will begin work on a part-time basis with a flexible schedule beginning April/May 2019 (approximately six to eight hours a week for five months), increasing to approximately twenty hours a week in the five weeks leading up to and including the conference.

The deadline for applications is March 31. For more information, including job description, responsibilities, qualifications and remuneration, click here.
