City of Vancouver Cultural Services anticipates securing approximately 10 live-work artist studios to be owned by the City of Vancouver, on the third, fourth and fifth levels of this development. The proposal includes a 29-storey market residential tower and a 15-storey hotel tower over a 5-storey podium, with retail use at grade.

Open House
An open question period (available from June 8, 2020 to June 28, 2020) replaces the in-person open house, which is on hold due to COVID-19. Questions submitted through the "Ask a question" tab will be posted online with a response within two business days.

Drawings and information about this development are available for feedback and comment on the Open House online website.

If the rezoning is approved, Cultural Services anticipates adding these live-work studios to its Artist Studio Award Program. The Artist Studio Award Program supports low-income artists in City-operated live-work and work spaces at below-market rates for a period of three years, enabling artists to focus on their practice at a critical moment in their careers. Vancouver-based artists who demonstrate financial need (for example, artists who would be eligible for social housing) and artistic excellence are selected through an open process by a peer jury.

You can provide written comments on this application and the cultural amenity by June 28, 2020 by submitting them online through the online virtual open house portal here, or by contacting:
