Culture Days 2013 Early Registration

Culture Days is a collaborative coast-to-coast-to-coast volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. With the support of a National Steering Committee and volunteer Provincial and Territorial Task Forces, thousands of activity organizers self-mobilize at the grassroots level to present and coordinate free public activities that take place throughout the country over the last weekend of September each year.

The fourth annual Culture Days weekend will take place September 27, 28 and 29, 2013, and will feature thousands of free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate “behind-the-scenes,” to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, designers and other creative people in their communities.

Register one or more activities at culturedays.ca before April 30 and you will be included in the Culture Days’ national spring communications campaign. Don’t worry if you don’t have all your details finalized at this early stage, you can still start the process now and come back to touch it up later.

Along with the many returning to host activities for the third and fourth year in a row, a considerable number of newcomers are joining Culture Days for the first time in 2013.

Consider these great benefits of hosting an activity:

  • Make worthwhile connections, meet new supporters and audiences
  • Develop your promotional and organizational skills
  • Highlight the cultural vibrancy of your community
  • And, you could be included in local and regional marketing initiatives

... to name just a few!
