Adbusters Magazine is the people’s bi-monthly journal of the mental environment.
But we’re so much more than a magazine.
We’re a global collective of writers, artists, designers, musicians, poets, philosophers and punks.
Since 1989 we’ve been smashing ads, fighting corruption and speaking truth to power. We’re trying to forge a new way of living, create a whole new cultural vibe to escape the capitalist paradigm and halt humanity’s slide into a 10,000-year dark age.

Job Description:
Adbusters Media Foundation is looking for a seasoned, politically savvy writer with a poetic sensibility to help us with our magazine, website, listservs and campaigns.
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Hours: 10-35 per week
Salary: up to $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Researching and gathering information on assigned topics or news events.
- Writing clear, accurate, and engaging articles, reports, or stories for publication.
- Collaborating with editors and other team members to refine and polish writing.
- Meeting deadlines for submitting completed work for publication.
- Adapting writing style and tone to suit the target audience and publication platform.
- Staying informed about current events, trends, and developments relevant to assigned beats or areas of expertise.
- Developing story ideas and pitches for editorial consideration.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of writing experience.
