Full Circle is an Indigenous-led, non-profit arts organization dedicated to creating and presenting opportunities for Indigenous artists, performers, and cultural practitioners. Founded in 1992 by Margo Kane (C.M.) in Vancouver, Full Circle: First Nations Performance is the leading non-profit performing arts organization in British Columbia dedicated to pioneering, amplifying, and celebrating opportunities for Indigenous artists and performers.
Based on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəyə̓m (Musqueam), Sḵwxw̱ú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, our programs include The Talking Stick Festival, the Industry Series, and Múyuntstut ta Slúlum music programming, alongside year-round initiatives such as Indian Acts, Moccasin Trek: Arts on the Move, mentorship for Indigenous arts professionals, and other creative projects and productions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Artistic Producer plays a central role in realizing the organization’s artistic vision. Working closely with the Artistic Managing Director, the Artistic Producer helps curate, develop, and shape programming across disciplines, contributing ideas and leading new initiatives. The role includes coordinating the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities, from performances and exhibitions to community gatherings and digital projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Artistic Managing Director to curate, develop, and shape programming across disciplines, contributing ideas and leading initiatives to realize the artistic vision of the organization.
Manage all aspects of production for multidisciplinary events and projects, including scheduling, budgeting, contracting, technical requirements, and logistics.
Coordinate with artists, venues, production staff, and collaborators to deliver projects from planning through execution.
Oversee the financial aspects of production, ensuring expenses align with budget and funding requirements.
Work with communications staff to develop content and context for promotional and outreach materials.
Support community engagement strategies, working alongside the Artistic Managing Director and Community Liaison.
Develop and maintain partnerships with Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations, artists, and community groups.
Contribute to funding applications, reporting, and documentation as required.
Ensure that all programming respects Indigenous protocols, cultural values, and ethical community engagement practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferably applicants must be Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis), or have lived experience and connection to Indigenous communities.
Experience in arts production, producing, event coordination, or related fields.
Strong financial and project management skills, with attention to detail and timelines.
Knowledge of technical production (e.g., lighting, sound, etc.).
Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
If the candidate is not a resident of Greater Vancouver, he/she must be willing to travel to Vancouver as required with expenses covered.

REMUNERATION:
