Job Description:
Colourstrings Conservatory is seeking a qualified Piano Teacher. Candidate must be collaborative, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You must be comfortable with teaching students 5yrs to adult, and be available on early evenings and / or weekends. We have after school, teen and adult students. his is a progressive position, with room growth.
Responsibilities:
• Skilled at communicating and interacting with students in private & group settings
• Proficient in teaching a variety of ages and abilities
• Professional, responsible and punctual
• Passionate energetic about teaching
• Able to participate and contribute to our school
Qualifications:
• Minimum a Degree in Music or working towards similar with piano performance
• Minimum of three years teaching experience working with students of various ages and abilities in a one to one setting or group music class
• Kodaly training is an asset.

At Colourstrings we have the following requirements:
Prior to teaching, all instructors are required to obtain & provide a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Section check, at their own cost. You must be legally qualified to teach in Canada, with all paperwork completed.

Remuneration:
Hourly wage starts at $45 per hour, Instructors are contracted on a self-employment agreement. Colourstrings will coordinate studio space, scheduling, registrations and promotional content.
