Held collaboratively with the Coquitlam Public Library, kiddos can come by the Museum in their favourite pyjamas, listen to fun stories, and enjoy snacks in slumber-party style at our 1909 Heritage House. Richmond’s 2026 Writer-in-Residence Program
Together, the City of Richmond and Richmond Public Library warmly welcome Aaron Chan as Richmond’s 2026 Writer-in-Residence. Aaron’s residency will explore themes of queerness, intersectionality, identity and bridging cultural and generational divides. From April 4 to June 20, Aaron will support emerging writers through a series of free workshops, events and conversations for teens and adults. Registration is now open and space is limited.
