Call for Artists Description:

TransLink’s Indigenous Relations and Public Art teams are seeking Indigenous artists for a new public art opportunity along Stewardson Way in New Westminster. This design-only project will result in eight large-scale digital artworks, printed on vinyl and installed on SkyTrain pillars.

This call is open to local First Nations artists, as well as urban Indigenous, Métis, and Inuit artists who live in or have strong ties to New Westminster. Artists of all experience levels are welcome to apply.

This project is a collaboration between TransLink and the City of New Westminster and is grounded in a commitment to Indigenous cultural recognition.

A 300-word letter of intent explaining: Why you’re interested in the project

The cultural elements you'd like to explore

Up to 4 images of previous work

An artist bio, including your experience and ability to create digital artwork (Photoshop or Illustrator)

Optional: links to your website or social media portfolio
