CALL FOR ARTISTS:

The City of Coquitlam is focused on identifying and increasing opportunities for local, emerging artists to display two-dimensional visual artwork in civic facilities. Local artists from the Metro Vancouver area, with preference given to artists based in Coquitlam, are invited to submit an application to have their visual artwork in the mediums of painting, drawings, photographs, collage or prints displayed in a solo exhibition, group exhibition or as part of the Capture Photography Festival.

The Visual Arts Exhibition is open to emerging artists aged 16 and up who are not represented by a professional gallery.

HOW TO APPLY:

Fill out an application on the website: https://www.coquitlam.ca/1515/202728-Visual-Arts-Exhibition. Applicants must apply to only one opportunity; applications submitted for more than one exhibition will not be considered. Artists submitting work for the first time are encouraged to apply to the group exhibition, while more experienced artists may wish to apply for a solo exhibition.

FEES/COMPENSATION:

There is no fee to apply. Artists accepted into the Visual Arts Exhibition will receive an honorarium.
