Call for Artists- Oxford Comfort Station Mural

CALL FOR ARTISTS:
The City of White Rock is seeking proposals from interested BC artists and/or artist teams for a mural and vinyl window wrap on the Oxford Comfort Station near Bayview Park, at the corner of Oxford Street and Marine Drive at White Rock Beach. The commissioned artwork will illustrate the theme of the ocean and the community’s connection to the water. The art will add vibrancy to the area, bringing art into the daily lives of residents and welcoming visitors to White Rock. This unique space includes a front and side wall (including doors), a tower at the front, and a ramp at the back, which offers an opportunity to design the front portion of the ramp. It also includes the opportunity to extend the mural design across the window using a vinyl wrap. Eligibility is open to BC artists and/or artist teams.

FEES/COMPENSATION:
