Call for Artists Description:

North Van Arts presents Trolley Days: Heritage in Motion, an outdoor performing arts festival celebrating the layered and diverse heritage of the North Shore.

Festival‑goers are invited to join us at the Shipyards, North Vancouver, on June 6 & 7, to explore the stories, cultures, and creative expressions that have shaped our community over time.

We are currently accepting applications from performance artists (dance, theatre, and music) to help bring our new community festival to life!

Deadline to Submit: Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 5pm

Submission Guidelines:

Performers must be located in Metro Vancouver to be considered for this event.
Priority will be given to performers from the North Shore in the selection process
Submissions will only be accepted from performing artists for this event. Sadly we will not be hiring any visual artists for this event at this time.


North Van Arts aims to be a safer space for all who engage with us. We are working towards providing opportunities and places of connection for all community members. We especially encourage applications from members of groups who are underrepresented in our community, including, but not limited to:

Fees/Compensation:

All chosen performers will be provided with compensation for their performance. Performers are asked to submit their requested fees, however as a non-profit organization, our budget is limited. Please note that our standard honorariums range between $200-$300 and fees will be discussed with chosen performers upon selection.
