EOI for programming for Canada Day in Whistler

CALL FOR ARTISTS DESCRIPTION: 
We are looking for engaging acts, dancers, performances, roving characters, musical groups and activity facilitators for Whistler's Canada Day celebrations. The theme is "Celebrating our Natural Beauty and Stories" - so programming with themes relevant to Whistler and BC will be prioritised. We are open to creative ideas!

There is a community parade from 12 - 1pm. We are looking for select paid, engaging acts that can perform on the move (dancers, puppets, moving musical acts etc).

Following the parade, we have fun, interactive activations in Whistler village around the parade times for community members and visitors. We have a popup performance area for dance and musical groups and other zones for art activities and other types of programming. We invite EOI submissions from groups interested in hosting engaging workshops, performances, dance groups for either the parade and/or the village animations.

Event Timing: July 1st, Parade @ 12pm, activations 1 - 4pm
