CALL FOR ARTISTS:
The City of Port Moody is seeking artists from British Columbia to create artwork suitable for a series of printed street banners. Every two years, artists or designers are commissioned to design street banners that are displayed in the community for one year.

A budget of $2,200 is designated for this project. The budget is inclusive of all project costs, including artist fees, artwork materials and supplies, and studio overhead.

This is a two-stage, design-only open call. In Stage 1, artists must submit a Letter of Interest (maximum one page) describing their interest in the project and their general understanding of the design opportunity. Design proposals or artwork concepts should not be submitted at this stage. Applicants must also include a current resume or CV and a portfolio of up to 10 images of past work (or up to 15 images for artist teams), along with a numbered image list including artist name, title, date, medium, size, and relevant project details where applicable. All materials must be submitted as a single PDF (maximum 10 MB).

FEES/COMPENSATION:
There are no fees to apply. The project budget is $2,200 inclusive of artist fees, materials, supplies, and studio overhead.
