CALL FOR ARTISTS:
The Burnaby Arts Council invites applications from new vendors for the 2026 Deer Lake Winter Craft Festival, taking place November 13–15, 2026 at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts in Burnaby, BC.
The annual festival brings together over 50 local artists, artisans, and makers for a weekend focused on handmade craft, design, and community, drawing thousands of visitors each year. The event features ceramics, textiles, jewellery, woodworking, prints, home goods, specialty foods, and more.
The Burnaby Arts Council is seeking high-quality handmade work from emerging and established vendors whose practices emphasize originality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful presentation. New vendors working in contemporary craft, artisanal production, and handmade design are encouraged to apply. Particular interest is given to glass, textiles, clothing, accessories, housewares, macramé, plants, specialty foods, and related artisanal practices.
