CALL FOR ARTISTS:
Nicola Real Estate is seeking Expressions of Interest from local, regional, and national artists or artist teams with mural experience to create a site-responsive series of murals for their new development at 2111 Main St, Vancouver. Three ground-level facade surfaces on the western elevation of 2111 Main St have been identified as site locations for mural artworks. This site location and public art opportunity offers high public visibility, accessibility, and engagement opportunities for diverse audiences.
HOW TO APPLY:
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST REQUIREMENTS (DIGITAL FORMAT ONLY)
i) Cover letter briefly outlining the artistic approach to the site and public art opportunity (500 words maximum).
ii) Current CV (2 pages maximum).
iii) Maximum of 10 high quality digital images of past work (can be submitted as a folder link from WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, and/or OneDrive, etc.).
iv) Annotated image list of past work including title, medium, date, dimensions, and corresponding image number.
v) Complete contact information (full name, email, phone number).
