CALL FOR ARTISTS:
re:Naissance Immersive is a boundary-defying collective of artists who craft immersive worlds through boundless storytelling and engage audiences in transformative experiences that challenge and expand the possibilities of live performance. Located on the unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Səl̓ílwətaʔ, and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm nations, our mission is to inspire awe while we celebrate and lift equity-deserving artists.

We are currently casting for our upcoming world premiere and tour of INFERNO: A HIP HOP OPERA by Amy Lee Lavoie and Omari Newton. Please submit your video submissions by midnight on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

Acting experience is not a requirement. If you are an Emcee and feel drawn to this work, we would love to see your submission. We strongly encourage applications from QTIBPOC artists and creators.

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada. The production will take place in Vancouver, BC, but we welcome applications from anywhere. If selected, we will pay for travel and accommodation.

Production Timeline:
Pre-production workshop: Sept. 27 - Oct. 3, 2027
Rehearsal period: Oct. 4 - 17, 2027
Performance period: Oct. 18 - 31, 2027
Post-production tour week: Nov. 1 - 7, 2027
