City of Vancouver Book Award Finalists Announced

The City of Vancouver Book Award, which honours Vancouver authors, will be presented alongside the City of Vancouver Mayor’s Arts Awards on October 11.
The finalists are:
• Invisible Dead by Sam Wiebe (Random House Canada)
• Pandas on the Eastside by Gabrielle Prendergast (Orca Book Publishers)
• Bad Endings by Carleigh Baker (Anvil Press)
• Susan Point: Spindle Whorl by Grant Arnold, Ian M. Thom, Susan Point, Kathryn Bunn-Marcuse, Thomas Cannell, Myrtle Mckay, and William McLennan (Black Dog Publishing)
The ceremony is free to the public and takes place at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre in Vancouver. Stay tuned to the Alliance Blog for an RSVP!
