Actsafe’s COVID-19 Safety Procedures Course Available Online

The following is excerpted from a communication issued by Actsafe.

Actsafe’s COVID-19 Safety Procedures course has been completed and is now available online.  You can access the course here.

This COVID-19 Safety Course provides a general overview for workers in British Columbia’s arts and entertainment production industries on how to minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19 on their worksites. It is not designed to replace the information in each employer’s COVID-19 safety plan, but rather to give workers a general overview of some COVID-19 safe work procedures they should be aware of on the worksite, as well as rights and responsibilities as they apply to the COVID-19 environment.

Some information about this new resource available to you:

  • Developed in collaboration with members of the Motion Picture Standing Committee

  • Available to everyone via Actsafe STAR - Actsafe’s online Learning Management System

  • Once complete learners will have a certificate of completion in their worker profile.  This can be useful if employers wish to make this course mandatory for employment.  A worker takes the course once, a certificate of completion is generated and can be forwarded to each production requiring proof of completion.

  • Mobile-friendly - use your phone, tablet or desktop computer to complete

  • Takes only 30 minutes to complete.

  • It's 100% free!
