On January 19, the City of Vancouver announced the allocation of over $8.4 million in funding to help 144 arts and culture organizations recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The arts and culture sector has been deeply impacted by COVID-19 and the City is committed to supporting Vancouver’s artists, creators and cultural organizations through these difficult times,” said Branislav Henselmann, City of Vancouver’s managing director of cultural Services. “This investment provides over a hundred groups with the essential resources they need to deliver critical programs and services in support of the cultural growth and economic recovery of the city.”
