Vancouver Needs Your Feedback for the Draft Vancouver Plan

This text was partially excerpted from a press release shared by the City of Vancouver and Vancouver Plan.

The City of Vancouver has just presented the draft Vancouver Plan, the first unified city-wide plan to create a more liveable, affordable and sustainable city.

They are asking everyone who lives, works or plays in Vancouver to provide feedback on the draft Vancouver plan by April 24.

In addition to increasing housing choice, the draft Vancouver Plan proposes to:

  • Make our city more climate resilient by restoring ecosystems and protecting our green space and tree canopy

  • Create more equitable housing and complete neighbourhoods

  • Advance Reconciliation with the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations and urban Indigenous Peoples with continued consultation and collaboration in plan implementation

  • Read a summary of the draft Vancouver Plan, or download the full draft Vancouver Plan PDF file.

You can share your feedback and take the survey by going to vancouverplan.ca.

Your feedback will be shared with City Council as part of their decision on the Vancouver Plan in June 2022, with more detailed input to be considered as part of the Plan’s future implementation.
