Flirty 30! 80s Party: Benefit for Firehall Arts Centre and Theatre Cares Vancouver
/To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Firehall Arts Centre and to close out Theatre Cares Week 2012, the Firehall and Theatre Cares are hosting Flirty 30! 80s Party, Saturday, February 25th at the Firehall Arts Centre.
The Flirty 30! 80s Party: Benefit for Firehall Arts Centre and Theatre Cares Vancouver takes place February 25, 2012, 10 p.m. at the Firehall Arts Centre following that evening's performance of Chelsea Hotel.
Following that evening’s performance, the two organizations will transport guests back to a decade of big hair, shoulder pads and New Wave to raise funds for the Firehall and the HIV/AIDS charities supported by Theatre Cares.
“This is an opportunity for us to celebrate our long, colourful history as a theatre company in the Downtown Eastside as well as raise money for Theatre Cares, an organization that does great work supporting HIV/AIDS charities in the city” stated the Firehall’s Artistic Producer Donna Spencer.
