Jay Brazeau Suffers Onstage Stroke

During the Thursday, May 12 performance of Hairspray at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, actor Jay Brazeau experienced a minor stroke and the performance was cancelled.

He is expected to fully recover and return to the run at a later date.

The Arts Club Theatre Company is currently rehearsing Jay's understudy and performances will continue tomorrow evening.

The entire arts community and appreciative audiences join in wishing Jay a speedy recovery and look forward to his return.
