VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION:
Aid treasurer with tasks outlined below.
Responsibilities:
What you’ll do:
• assist the treasurer with bookkeeping and account reconciliation
• help prepare information for tax filings and reporting requirements
• work with the theatre's board or treasurer to ensure financial
compliance
• provide occasional financial guidance and support
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone who:
• has bookkeeping or accounting experience
• is familiar with tax reporting requirements for non-profit organizations
• is organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• can commit a few hours each month
• enjoys supporting community arts initiatives
