Now in its 5th Annual Juried Edition, the Biafarin Awards offers $4,000 CAD in cash grants and over $6,000 CAD in additional prizes, including group and solo exhibitions, magazine publications, and features on Artsy, the world’s largest art collectors’ platform.
This international competition welcomes visual artists of all styles and backgrounds to submit their artistic creations to earn grants, enhanced exposure, and reach art professionals, collectors, and enthusiasts in more than 150 countries worldwide.

HOW TO APPLY:
Biafarin proudly presents Biafarin Awards 2025; an annual international art awards with cash grants and prizes, open to visual artists working in any medium worldwide.
Biafarin Awards is an international open art call.
The subject of this art opportunity is free.
Artists can submit their artworks with any subject of their choice.
All art interpretations in any 2D and 3D art medium, abstract or representational, are welcome.
Artwork Photo
Only the artwork should show in the photo (no frames or extraneous backgrounds).
Invited artists might be asked for high resolution artwork photos, if needed.
Availability
Artists can submit artworks that are not for sale.
Number of Artworks
Artists can submit up to 10 pieces of original artworks related to the subject.
The artworks are subject to selection and maximum 2 artworks might be selected from the chosen artists.
AWARDS
■ Cash Grants: (CAD 3000) Gold Grant: CAD 1500 (3 artists, each CAD 500) Silver Grant: CAD 900 (3 artists, each CAD 300) Bronze Grant: CAD 600 (3 artists, each CAD 200)
■ Excellence Award
10 Artists will be selected for the cash prizes and will collectively win CAD 1,000.
■ International Group Exhibition
Selected artworks will be showcased in an international smart online group exhibition. All selected artworks will be exhibited online for 2 months from December 12, 2025, to February 12, 2026.
■ Artwork Promotion and Sales
All exhibited works will be available for viewing through the online showcase, with the option to sell. Artists are welcome to participate, whether or not their works are listed for sale or sold.
■ Artsy.net Largest Collectors Community Worldwide
Selected works will be showcased and featured on ARTSY, one of the leading platforms for art collectors worldwide, broadening exposure and enhancing sales opportunities for artists.
■ Solo Exhibitions
Up to 10 Artists will be selected for an international smart online solo exhibition. Each artists can showcase up to 15 artworks for two months.
■ Global Promotion
A promotion program will be executed to enhance the selected artists' exposure and increase the artwork's sales during the exhibition period. This program includes: - Press release sent out - Catalogue circulation - Online and social media exposure
■ Honorable Mention Award
Up to 10 artists will be selected to receive an Honorable Mention personalized digital award certificate as a testament to their artistic achievement. This recognition is awarded to those whose exceptional creativity, technique, and artistic vision stood out among the submissions, showcasing remarkable talent and contributing to the overall excellence of the art call. Artists selected for this award will be featured on social media channels.
■ Magazine Publication
Up to 10 artists will be selected to publish in Observica contemporary art magazine. Each artist will be published in 2 colorful full pages of the magazine.
■ Exhibition Catalogue
All selected artworks and artists will be published in a stylish colorful catalogue available online. The catalogue will remain available online in Biafarin platform and will be promoted internationally and circulated and available to thousands of viewers via popular publication gateways.
■ Additional magazines and books publication
Up to 10 artists will have a chance to be chosen for publishing in a well-known art media magazines or books in Biafarin network.
■ Artist Achievement Certificate
A digital certificate will be issued and sent to all selected artists.
■ Social Media Promotions
Each jury-selected artwork will be featured in a unique carousel post in our social media accounts.
■ Curated Reviews
Selected artists will have the opportunity to receive professionally curated reviews, designed to enhance their artistic profile and broaden their impact.
■ Focused Interviews A group of selected artists will be invited to participate in personalized interviews that strengthen their exhibition presence and deepen their connection with the global audience.
■ Audience Feedback
A select number of participating artists will be chosen to receive this award, which features curated and insightful feedback about their artworks, gathered through audience surveys and direct engagement with a trusted network of art enthusiasts. These reflections reveal how the artwork resonates with viewers, offering meaningful perspectives that enhance visibility, connection, and artistic growth.
■ Artwork Badges
A digital promotional badge for each artwork will be sent to each artist to share in the social media.
■ News Circulations
The exhibition opening announcement will be featured in art media, showcasing the names of the selected artists alongside a stylish photo grid, introducing the Biafarin 4th Annual International Smart Group Exhibition.
■ Statistical Exhibition Reports
The report provides detailed insights into the number of views for the exhibition and your artwork, offering valuable data on audience engagement with your work.
■ Artist Profile Page
All selected artists will receive a lifelong artist profile page, offering unlimited archive storage to professionally showcase their work on a global scale. Fees Submission is free, and only if selected, you'll be asked to pay a one-time fixed selection fee (USD 40 during early bird).
