CALL FOR ARTISTS DESCRIPTION:
North Van Arts is currently accepting submissions for our Art in the Community Program for 2026. Art in the Community consists of two exhibition venues:

  • District Library Gallery – Located at the Lynn Valley Main Library (2D submissions)

  • District Foyer Gallery – Located at North Vancouver District Hall (2D and 3D submissions)

The Art in the Community Program, run by North Van Arts, aims to celebrate and enable emerging and professional artists through solo exhibition opportunities in public spaces.

We invite visual artists working in 2D mediums or small 3D mediums (including painting, photography, ceramics, and mixed media) to apply. Successful candidates will be offered an eight-to-twelve-week solo exhibition time slot within the 2026 calendar year.

Artists must be able to fill the entire exhibition space and are required to submit a minimum of 10 artworks to exhibit. The exact number of artworks exhibited will be dependent on artwork sizing.

FEES/COMPENSATION:
Please note that North Van Arts does not pay artist fees for exhibiting artwork.
North Van Arts will receive an administrative fee (30% of the total sale price) for each artwork sold during the exhibition period.
