CALL FOR ARTISTS:
The City of White Rock is seeking proposals from interested BC artists and/or artist teams and contractors for a human sundial located within Bayview Park (14586 Marine Drive), White Rock West Beach. The sundial commissioned will illustrate the theme of the ocean and wind. The dial will add vibrancy to the area, bringing art into the daily lives of residents and welcoming visitors to White Rock. FEES/COMPENSATION:
The value of the commission is $17,000 and is inclusive of artist fees, concept design, materials and equipment, subcontractors, insurance, contingency, permits, meetings, travel, and taxes.
