CALL FOR ARTISTS:
The Hopper Prize is now accepting entries for Spring 2026 artist grants. Grant amounts have recently increased to $4,500 USD. A total of $13,000 USD will be awarded across six grants: two artists will each receive $4,500, and four artists will each receive $1,000.

Program highlights include total awards of $13,000 USD for visual artists. In addition to grant recipients, 30 artists will be shortlisted and archived on hopperprize.org. Selected artists may also be featured on the Hopper Prize Instagram (@hopperprize) and in their online journal, Insights into Contemporary Art.

This is an open call for visual artists aged 18 and older. All visual media is eligible. The opportunity provides exposure to an international audience of curators, gallerists, artists, and arts administrators.

HOW TO APPLY:
Applications are completed online at https://hopperprize.org. The submission process is designed to be straightforward and typically takes under 20 minutes. Required materials include:
– Name and email
– Instagram handle (optional)
– Up to 10 images or video files
– Artwork captions
– Artist statement and biography (optional)

FEES/COMPENSATION:
There is a $40 submission fee.
