We at the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture are thrilled to announce that we've received a $235,000 grant from the Canada Council for the Arts Digital Fund, for our project, "DIGITAL LADDERS: Nurturing Digital Literacy & Expression in BC's Arts, Culture and Heritage Sector."

The project will support an evolution in digital intelligence and disseminate knowledge about how digital tools can support and be integrated into the vision of an arts, culture or heritage organization. The BC Alliance will collaborate with cultural and technology innovator Sue Biely, CEO of Nudge Consulting, to design and deliver a multi-level digital literacy program of short salons, multi-day labs and idea-refining workshops for the cultural sector in BC.

Says BC Alliance executive director Brenda Leadlay: “We would like to thank the Canada Council for recognizing the work being done by the BC Alliance and for giving BC’s cultural community this opportunity to significantly boost the digital literacy skills of our sector.”

Stay tuned for more details of the programs being offered!
